Who is it for?

3Bays GSA ZONE is our 2nd generation Golf Swing Analyzer, suitable for all golfers of any skills who want to understand their swings, identify flaws and improve swings. It is also a perfect teaching aid for all golf instructors to take golf teaching to the next level.

Will 3Bays GSA ZONE work with my phone or tablet?

3Bays GSA ZONE works with smart devices running iOS and Android operating systems. GSA ZONE works on both smartphones and tablets. For details, please visit our Technical Specifications page.

What does 3Bays GSA ZONE track?

3BaysGSA ZONE tracks the movement of the golf club and also provides key swing metrics including club head speed, face angle, swing path, tempo, down swing time, back swing time, impact force, ball speed, carry distance, consistency. New metrics tracked with GSA ZONE are: Top of backswing, power zone, release point, and shaft lean on impact.

I can't pair my 3Bays GSA ZONE device to iPhone/iPad/iPod touch What should I'do?

If Bluetooth is disabled, please follow the procedures as below:
Step 1: Search and download the dedicated application, "GSA ZONE" from App Store on your iOS devices.
Step 2: When the 3BaysGSA PRO device is in OFF mode, press & hold the power button for 4 seconds until blue & red LED are alternating.
Step 3: Enable the Bluetooth function of your iOS devices, Setting > General > Bluetooth ON
Step 4: Find out the corresponding serial number from the scan list. You can check the serial number at the back of your 3BaysGSA PRO device
Step 5: After choosing the correct serial number, input "8888" password.
Step 6: After successful pairing, please go back to GSA PRO app.
Step 7: You can test the connection by clicking "Connect Wizard" button at the top left corner of home screen.
If Bluetooth is enabled, please make sure: 1) blue & red LED are alternating by pressing and holding power button for 4 seconds from OFF mode before you start the pairing process. 2) you are not holding the pin of 3BaysGSA PRO device during the pairing process.

I can't search my 3Bays GSA ZONE device on the Bluetooth setting. What should I do?

Please make sure the GSA ZONE is in pairing mode. If you still cannot see GSA ZONE in the scanning list, please reboot your iOS devices and try the pairing procedures again.

Where can I download the GSA ZONE app?

You can go to App Store on your iOS device, search & download "GSA ZONE". GSA ZONE also has full support for the iPad. For Android devices, you can find the GSA ZONE app in the Google Play store.

My 3Bays GSA ZONE is working perfectly with GSA ZONE app but the device doesn't connect with the GSA PRO App. Why?

The 3Bays GSA ZONE device works with GSA ZONE app only, and is not compatible with GSA PRO or GSA PUTT app.

Is my 3Bays GSA ZONE compatible with both Android and iOS devices?

Yes! GSA ZONE works with both iOS and Android devices. No need to buy different versions.

The Bluetooth connection between my mobile and 3Bays GSA ZONE is broken. What should I do?

You can try to switch off GSA ZONE by holding down the button until red LED light flashes 3 times, then power on GSA ZONE again. The GSA ZONE app should detect the sensor and the GSA icon on the top will turn green. Device

How to align the GSA in your club?

Please align the arrow on 3Bays GSA ZONE device with the mark of the golf grip, which is pointing to the square position of club face as shown below.

How do I apply 3Bays GSA ZONE to my club?

Insert 3Bays GSA ZONE easily to the hole on the club grip of drivers, drivers, woods, rescues, irons and wedges. The patented smart design makes it obstruction free from your swings.

How does 3Bays GSA ZONE track swing data?

The compact GSA device is powered by advance 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, which tracks the movement of the club in all directions. Through the patented algorithm, all swing metrics are presented precisely and accurately.

How does 3Bays GSA ZONE connect with my phone or tablet?

Completely wireless. 3Bays GSA ZONE transmits swing data instantly to your mobile via Bluetooth LE. No wire is required.

Is 3Bays GSA ZONE suitable for both left-handed golfers and right-handed golfers?

Yes, 3Bays GSA ZONE automatically detects if you are left-handed or right-handed. No setting is required.

How can I charge 3Bays GSA ZONE?

3Bays GSA ZONE is charged via the micro USB cable included in the GSA ZONE packaging. Simply plug the device into a PC or wall plug with USB PORT. It takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to fully charge the device.

After I swing, the blue LED of the device doesn't flash quickly and transmit data. Why?

You may have some practice swing movements at the setup position before you actually swing. Please keep your club still at the setup position for 2 seconds before swinging. (solid blue LED will light up, and you can take your swing).

After I swing, 3Bays GSA ZONE device starts transmitting the data to the mobile but it stops without data transmission complete. Why?

3Bays GSA ZONE device may be at low battery level. Please charge the device for at least an hour (when blue LED is on, it is fully charged) and then you can swing again.

3Bays GSA ZONE does not flash at all. Why?

Your 3Bays GSA PRO device may be out of battery, please charge the device for at least 1 hour. Then, you may try to long press the power button for 3 seconds, and check if the device lights up.

How to switch off and restart the 3Bays GSA ZONE device?

To turn off the device , please press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. You will see 3 quick red flashes. To restart the device, please press and hold the power button for 1 second.

What is the usage time for GSA ZONE?

Under normal usage, the play time of 3BaysGSA PRO is up to 5 hours on full charge.

How much does the GSA ZONE app cost?

The GSA ZONE app is totally free. But you will need a 3Bays GSA ZONE device to work with it.

What information can I see on the app?

You can playback the animation of your swing in full 3D and watch it in slow motion for in-depth analysis. You can simply swipe up the screen to view all the key swing metrics.

Where are my swing records?

Every swing you take is stored on the app. You can check the records by date and by club selection.

Can I compare my swings with others?

You can set any of your swings or coaches to be the 'Best Swing' and compare each swing against it. You can also compare your swing with PGA Pros. Lets' see how you stack up against them!

I can't playback my swing arc animation. How?

You can click the playback button at the bottom button menu. You can even playback in slow motion by clicking the 1/4 and 1/8 button.

How to set up the swing arc color?

Press the menu button on the top left, and select "Swing Color". You can choose from 3 different color presets.

I want to review the current swing arc only. How?

You can press "Current / Best" icon on the top right to toggle.

My Club Head Speed is unreasonably high / low. Why?

Please make sure the device is plugged into the grip entirely and firmly before swing. Also, choose the correct golf club you are using on the top right corner of GSA ZONE app before you swing. If you select an incorrect golf club, the parameters will not be accurate.

How to share my swing information to Facebook friends?

You can share your swing information with your friends and coaches via Facebook and other social media sites on GSA ZONE app. You can click "Share" button on the bottom left side of menu bar, select "Facebook". Then you can upload the swing parameter or swing arc screenshot to your Facebook page. Please login your Facebook account before sharing.

How to save my swing data to PC?

You may use the Share function to screen capture your swing records and store into PC. On the target page, you can click "Share" button on the bottom menu bar and select "Save to Photo Album". An image of screen capture is then stored in your mobile for you to transfer to PC as record.

Where is the swing data stored and how much memory is used?

All the swing data are transferred and stored on your mobile device given your device is connected with GSA ZONE. A swing data occupies a small amount of memory and over thousands of swing data can be stored in 100MB memory.

Did the app freeze? It says "Processing the swing data" on the screen and not moving.

Please check the signal strength of internet connection in your phone/tablet. If the signal is too weak, we suggest to switch off the data connection or you can switch to Airplane mode when using GSA app.
